SDL Group of Companies

It started with a small photography studio in Istanbul and a family who understood that a single image can say what words often cannot. Three generations later, that conviction still shapes every project we take on.

In 1973 the family founded SDL and opened the 1,800 m² daylight studio that is still our home today. For more than fifty years it has hosted fashion editorials, international advertising campaigns, television productions and feature films.

Today the group is led by Serkan Sedele, photographer, director and the third generation of the family. Beyond his own work behind the camera, Serkan has a rare gift for bringing people together. Over the years he has connected talented professionals, creative teams and companies from all around the world, and turned those connections into partnerships that last. That ability to unite the right people is what gives the group its strength.

Under his leadership, SDL Group of Companies brings five specialist companies together: 101 Production, PACE Media, SDL Pictures, Serkan Sedele Studio and SDL Printing House. Each has its own team and its own expertise. Together they cover the entire life of an image, from strategy and concept through production, film, media and print.

After more than a thousand commercials and campaigns, the way we work has stayed the same. We are direct, we are honest, and we care deeply about the craft.

Quite possibly, extraordinary.
